[Korea University Newspaper Reporter Lee Jeong-hwan] Cheongam University (Acting President Kim Seong-hong) signed a business agreement with the Korea Institute of Engineering and Technology (KETRI) on the 17th. Acting President Kim Seong-hong, Director of Industry-Academic Cooperation Jeong Chan-ju, CEO Son Cheol-soo of KETRI, Director Lee Tae-woong of the Research Institute, and professors from the Department of Computer Information Convergence and the Department of Fire Safety Management attended the business agreement.

KETRI is leading the way in providing various digital experiences and opportunities by supplying products tailored to the characteristics and needs of customers through the development of new technologies such as educational kiosks, wheel care VR, and ET boards, as well as technological innovation. In addition, it is providing the first developed CAD automatic scoring program free of charge to the Department of Computer Information Convergence and the Department of Fire Safety Management at Cheongam University, expecting to develop and utilize the curriculum.

Son Cheol-soo, CEO of KETRI, said, “The Auto CAD drawing scoring solution uses objective scoring technology to reduce the possibility of misscoring, and the time to inspect the accuracy of drawings is shortened by about 10 times. He expressed confidence, saying, “The grading program will help educate current students.”

Acting President Kim Seong-hong expressed his expectations, saying, “We expect the development and utilization of customized educational courses through the program supported by the Korea Institute of Engineering and Technology, and we hope that it will lead to the expansion of talent cultivation and employment.”

Director of Industry-Academic Cooperation Jeong Chan-ju said, “Cheongam University is expanding field training and internships to cultivate professional workers, and we hope that this agreement will serve as a foundation for advancing the level of education for current students.”
